Clinton Mugge

Clinton is the Founder of C-Level Security a pure play strategic security consulting firm focused on delivering best of breed security solutions to organizations. Imparting over a decade of pure security experience to the vision of C-Level Security, Clinton has brought industry experts together, focused on building effective security programs through a combination of assessment, architecture and training services.

Clinton was the Director of Consulting for Foundstone, building and delivering many of the professional service lines, establishing his practice area as a dominant force prior to McAfee's product acquisition. Clinton worked in Ernst & Young's security solutions practice balancing security and business needs while leading security assessments across multiple industries. Clinton's career began as a counterintelligence agent within the Department of the Army dealing with force protection, threat analysis of military operations, and performing classified investigation while stationed stateside and overseas.

Clinton earned his BS from Southern Illinois University and an MS from the University of Maryland.

Clinton is a co-author for the Hack Notes book series, and contributed to Hacking Exposed, Windows XP Security, and Incident Response. He continues to work with a large number of published authors and chief security officers putting him in a strategic position to leverage the knowledge and resources of the industry.

Kartik Trivedi

Kartik Trivedi, is a partner at C-Level Security responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan for the C-Level Security product services. Kartik has a ten years of experience working in the application and software security industry.

Kartik was formerly the Director of Application Security at Accuvant, driving development of the Practice Area with the goal of significant growth and profitability; providing technical expertise; identifying, hiring, developing, managing, and retaining professional staff with appropriate skill sets; and maintaining and leveraging a network of clients and contacts. The application security practice grew by more than 300% under his leadership establishing Accuvant as a dominant force in the security market. Prior to Accuvant, Kartik was a managing consultant and lead instructor at Foundstone - a division of McAfee, Inc. He was the service line owner of web application security and code review practices. Under his leadership, the services became profitable and grew to generate more than 30% of Foundstone's professional services' annual revenue. He has performed security roadmap planning, risk assessment, threat analysis, application assessments, code reviews, network penetration tests, secure SDLC and wireless reviews for large number of fortune 500 clients. Kartik instructed the Ultimate Hacking and secure software development classes. He was the recipient of the McAfee president's club award 2005 for exceptional performance.

Kartik began his career as a software development engineer with Concept Solutions and then with Larsen and Toubro, Ltd. His job was to build dynamic portals, implement complex search algorithms, e-shopping cart applications and customize ERP implementations for clients.

Kartik has an MS and a BS in computer science. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
